Lexington UMC offers a Sunday School for people of all ages! All are welcome to join us and find a class to join. Check out any of our classes below. Sunday School starts around 9:45 am and our classes meet throughout the building.

LUMC staff and volunteers in Children and Youth Ministries are trained to follow Safe Sanctuaries policies.

Children – Meet in Children’s Hall in Main Building

Join us for Children’s Sunday School from 10 am to 10:45 am (drop off begins at 9:45 am). Children are together for 15 minutes of music, then enter into grouped classes. We currently offer our younger class (4k-2nd) and older class (3rd-5th) during the school year and one-room Sunday School during the summer. We follow the Illustrated Ministries’ lectionary-based curriculum as we wonder and grow together in God. For more information regarding Children’s Sunday School, contact Heather Connor.

Youth – Meet Downstairs in Ministry Center – Youth Room

All students in both middle and high school (Grades 6 – 12) are welcome to join us in the Youth room weekly for our Sunday School. Youth Pastor Todd Handell as well as other volunteers teach using “Orange” Curriculum, which places an emphasis on the church and home coming together to create the Body of Christ. Topics vary but are often focused on current topics youth are facing in today’s world. All are welcome to come join us.
