Purpose:
At Lexington United Methodist Preschool, we focus on the intellectual, social, physical, emotional, spiritual, and creative growth of the whole child. Each child is helped to experience success and positive feelings of self–worth at his/her level of maturity.
Time:
Our preschool runs Monday through Friday from 9 am to 12 pm.
Curriculum:
The preschool class activities strive to develop and refine social, self-help, cognitive, gross, and fine-motor skills. Play is the foundation for building all future skills. The curriculum is literature and theme-based.

We are excited for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year! The first day of school will be August 24th, 2026, and the last day of school will be May 21st, 2027.

Registration Fee: $125 per child payable at online registration and is NON-REFUNDABLE
Tuition Fee: Tuition is per class enrolled, and the fee is broken down into 9 monthly payments (September-May). The monthly tuition includes your supplies and snacks. Tuition is due by the first of each month, beginning Sept 1st. If payment is not received by the 10th, then a late payment fee will be added.

Lunch Bunch
This is an optional after-school program offered to our 3- and 4-year-old classes. Lunch Bunch is Tuesday through Friday from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm. Students who sign up for this program bring their lunch and get an extra 30 minutes of playtime. This is great practice for elementary school.

4 days/week $75/month
Multi-Child Discount: Applies if you have more than one child in your family attending the preschool. Your monthly fees for the 2nd and subsequent children will be reduced by $5.00. There are no discounts on Lunch Bunch or Registration Fees.
LUMC Members: Receive a 10% discount on their monthly fees. No discounts are given on Lunch Bunch or Registration Fees.
Preschool Withdrawal:
Each student is registered to attend Lexington United Methodist Preschool for the entire preschool year. If a parent chooses to withdraw their child from LUMP, the preschool office must be notified in writing a minimum of 30 days BEFORE the date of withdrawal. If a student is withdrawn and has given LUMP less than one month’s notice, the parents are responsible for the entire following month’s tuition. If parents should decide to re-register their child they will need to fill out new registration paperwork and pay the $125 NON-REFUNDABLE registration fee.
2026-2027 Calendar
The first day of school will be August 24, 2026. The last day of school will be May 21, 2027. We follow Lexington School District One for all school closures.
