On June 14 we began our Phase 1 of returning to our church facility! In the continuation of exercising caution and concern for the health of all, our worship together has looked different and changed during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Throughout the course of 2020 and 2021, LUMC leadership committees have worked diligently in transitioning back to the church through different phases planned out for the safety and concern of all. Currently we are in our third phase of return and on Sunday mornings we are offering three worship services, all of which are being offered in the Ministry Center/Wesley Hall: two Traditional Services at 8:30am & 11:15am, and a 10am Contemporary Service. (Sunday School and nursery care is currently TBD). To exercise caution of the spread of the coronavirus, Wesley Hall is sanitized after each service. We also provide a Wednesday Evening Vespers Service at 6:30pm in the LUMC Sanctuary. Click here to learn more about our Vespers Service: https://lexumcsc.com/vespers/
Live streaming will continue at the 10am and 11:15am services for those uncomfortable with worshiping in person and who wish to worship at home online. Click here for our Live Streaming option and more on our YouTube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCFB0obhyCqqWycmiv_tGYag/videos
In our world of technology, we are thankful for the video screen, which keeps the passing of physical materials from occurring.
Airborne aerosol spread is the main concern. To act on Jesus’ message to love our neighbors, masks are required. We will have some available if you do not have one. Hand sanitizer stations are available for your usage at the entrances.
During the Offering, ushers will come to your seat with the collection plate to collect your tithes and offerings. Online giving is still available and encouraged at lexumcsc.com/give
